I LOVE cycling. I LOVE Belgian Cyclists. I LOVE it even more if Belgian Cyclists win. And I LOVE Cyclists like Gilbert that really fight and work for their win and that show such joy while being on the bike.
Watching cycling is my motivation to get in shape and to lose the weight I need to.
There’s no better way of saying this, but cycling rocks!

So today Thor Hushovd announced he will be moving to BMC. It makes me wonder even more if Gilbert has/will sign with BMC. I love how they are such good friends and train together and support each other! When you see them together they are always smiling! I think seeing them on the same team would be great and I think they both are willing to work for each other when it comes to winning races!
Either way, I have always been a fan of Hushovd and he looks good (except when he’s racing against Tom Boonen). And of course who cannot love Gilbert? He’s got class and seems like a really nice guy (most of the time).
Anyway, I am interested to see how this plays out! Even if they do not ride together, it’s a great excuse to post these pictures of the two of them on Tumblr!

Philippe Gilbert’s son, Alain, visited his daddy in the 2nd rest day of the Tour de France.
AAAHHH!! I can’t…it’s just…I mean, how, HOW does one resist the fucking adorableness of this photo?!
Also, I wonder which podium he won this baby at.
Ahh Philippe Gilbert…loved him at the Tour, love him post tour, and love the way he looks with his cute little boy in matching outfits!

Hushovd and Gilbert
Nice little duo-interview of good friends and future teammates Philippe Gilbert and Thor Hushovd (in French) by Belgian sports news program Sportweekend.
According to Hushovd Peter Sagan will become World Champion, and Gilbert thinks Daniele Bennati will win it!

Philippe Gilbert justifying his #1 race number in the GP de Quebec today attacking multiple times showing his incredible strength and form ahead of the world championships.

How impressive was Gilbert in the end? Coming out of nowhere he took the peleton and lead the sprint for Roelandts to try and close the gap to the 3 leaders. Except the peleton could not follow Gilbert and Roelandts. Sadly, they could not bridge the gap but Gilbert got so close, he even finished 3rd! Glad he was okay after his little tumble!
Also, don’t you love Jurgen Roelandts’ smile? I’m impressed he was able to stick to Gilbert’s wheel after he attacked like that!
